Congratulations to Prof ZHU Guobin and Mr. Richard KHAW SC on their Appointment as Justices of the Peace

The School is delighted to announce that Prof ZHU Guobin, Professor of School of Law, and Mr. KHAW Richard Wei-kiang SC, our distinguished alumnus, have been appointed as Justices of the Peace (JP) by the Chief Executive of HKSAR, effective from 1 July, 2025.

The primary responsibility of JPs is to ensure that individuals in correctional facilities and other institutions are treated fairly and their rights are protected.
