Participating teams are required to utilise the Xiaomi AIoT Development Devices (including hardware and software development tools) to design and construct a physical model or interactive display device with the theme “Future Development of the Northern Metropolis.” The completed exhibit should not exceed 1 metre × 1 metre × 1.5 metres in size.
The competition entry should demonstrate the Northern Metropolis’ vision as a region that is livable, economically vibrant, and attractive to visitors, while incorporating elements such as smart city technologies, sustainable living, and innovation and technology industries. Through this competition, students will strengthen their ability to integrate and apply STEAM knowledge and skills, gain a deeper understanding of the planning vision for the Northern Metropolis, and cultivate both innovative thinking and a strong sense of national identity.
