The ICMPE conference founded by Prof. Rudolf Wu in 1995, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024. Dozens of international scholars from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Chinese mainland have been invited to deliver keynote lectures at the conference. Meanwhile, SKLMP members from eight local universities (HKU, HKUST, CUHK, PolyU, CityU, HKBU, EdUHK and HKMU) will also attend and present at ICMPE-10.
The scientific themes of this conference will focus on legacy pollution issues; ocean plastic issues; environmental fate, ecotoxicity and ecological risk of contaminants of emerging concern; advanced ecotoxicology; marine ecosystem responses to climate and environmental changes and ocean carbon neutrality; innovative marine pollution monitoring and control technology; environmental policy and more. We have already received responses from over 200 participants.
