Student Chapter

The PIA Student Chapter is a dedicated group of students committed to enhancing the academic and social experiences of fellow PIA students.
 
Core Objectives
  • Networking: Facilitate connections among students, teachers, industry professionals, and alumni.
  • Skills Development: Cultivate essential soft skills such as event planning, public speaking, and leadership.
  • Community Building: Foster a sense of unity and collaboration within the PIA Department.

The PIA Student Chapter is encouraged to engage in the following 5 areas:
  • Admissions: Assist with admission-related activities, such as Information Day, Consultation Day and school visits.
  • Student Advising: Support new students in adapting to university life by acting as Student Mentors.
  • Social Events: Organize social gatherings and networking events, and support other Department events (e.g. Commencement Ceremonies).
  • Professional Development: Host workshops and activities that enhance students’ professional skills.
  • Promotions: Create marketing and promotional materials for social media.
