The Department of Public and International Affairs (PIA) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) was delighted to welcome a delegation from Peking University's School of International Studies (SIS), led by Zhu Yibo, Associate Dean of SIS, on 14 October 2026. The visit built on the growing partnership between the two institutions, following PIA's visit to Peking University in August, during which a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to strengthen academic collaboration and foster future exchanges.

 

Comprising 13 faculty members and students, the delegation engaged in lively and insightful discussions with PIA colleagues on green and sustainable development, international leadership, and global challenges. The exchanges took place in a warm and collegial atmosphere, providing a valuable platform for sharing perspectives, strengthening institutional ties, and exploring new opportunities for collaboration in research, teaching, and student exchanges.

 

At PIA, we believe that meaningful international partnerships extend beyond formal agreements. They are built through sustained academic dialogue, mutual understanding, and people-to-people connections. We look forward to further deepening our partnership with Peking University's School of International Studies and creating more opportunities for academic collaboration and student engagement.
