Profs Sunny Wang and Oscar Dahlsten serve as Jurors for Hong Kong Young Physicists' Tournament 2025

The Hong Kong Young Physicists' Tournament (HKYPT) 2025 successfully concluded its preliminary and final rounds, with Professor WANG Xin Sunny and Professor Oscar DAHLSTEN from CityUHK Physics serving as jurors. Their expertise and dedication played a vital role in evaluating the performances of young physicists during the competition. 

Held on 22 February 2025 at West Island School, the tournament brought together 14 teams and approximately 80 students and teachers for a series of rigorous physics fights. As jurors, Prof. Wang and Prof. Dahlsten provided insightful feedback and impartial judgment, contributing to the event's success and fostering a spirit of scientific inquiry among participants.

Organized by the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE), HKYPT 2025 marked a milestone in promoting physics education through competitive debates. The tournament's Award List has been published on the HKAGE website.

The Hong Kong Young Physicists' Tournament is a prestigious competition that encourages secondary school students to engage in physics research and scientific debate, fostering critical thinking and innovation. The HKYPT working team expressed deep gratitude to all jurors, including Prof. Wang and Prof. Dahlsten, for their commitment. Certificates of appreciation will be issued to acknowledge their contributions.
