Celebration of Physics - PHY Annual Symposium 2020 [Register Now!]

The "Celebration of Physics - Department of Physics' Annual Symposium" is a departmental tradition that started last year and has been well received by the students and faculty members of our department. It provides a great opportunity to showcase the research achievements of our students and faculty members in the past year.

During this event, we will have poster sessions for both UG and PG students so that they can present the most exciting results from their own research projects. Meanwhile, select faculty members from our department will also give talks during the Symposium to demonstrate their research achievements.

The Symposium is also a good opportunity to foster possible new collaborations between the students and faculty members in our department. By listening to the talks and interacting with each other, the students can learn on-going research activities in other research groups in our department. As a result, they can have a chance to directly interact with other departmental members, and thereby possibly finding new collaboration opportunities.

This event is also a good promotion of the image of our department. We thus encourage all students and faculty members to enjoy and actively participate in this event. See you all on Friday, 29 May!
