Astrophysics and Particle Physics

Astrophysics and particle physics seek to answer deep mysteries of the Universe, such as: What is the origin of the Universe? Why is it so vast? What are dark matter and dark energy? What are the fundamental particles and interactions in nature?

Answering these questions calls for innovative theoretical models, computational methods, and experimental or observational tests that connect phenomena across a wide range of scales, from subatomic realm to stars, galaxies, and black holes, and ultimately to the cosmos as a whole. Progress in these fields deepen our understanding of the laws of nature and lay the groundwork for technological innovations of tomorrow.
