Congratulations to Professor HE Yukun

We are delighted to share with you that Professor HE Yukun (Assistant Professor of Department of Mathematics) has received the Excellent Young Scientists Fund under the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) to support his awarded project “Random Matrices”.  The NSFC Excellent Young Scientist Scheme (Hong Kong and Macau) is granted annually to support young scholars with good achievements in conducting innovative research in their research areas. The selection is highly competitive. There are 25 projects funded every year, with an amount of 2 million CNY each. This year Professor He is one of the five awardees in CityU.  He has made important contributions to the understanding of the cumulant expansion technique, linear eigenvalue statistics, as well as the edge statistics of random graphs.  Please join us in congratulating Professor He for his research achievements.”
