Overdue Fines

Late return of Interlibrary Loan (HKALL / Others) books is liable to a fine as stipulated in the Library Regulations.

It is the users' responsibility to take good care of Interlibrary Loan (HKALL / Others) books borrowed from the other libraries. No Interlibrary Loan (HKALL / Others) books should be taken overseas without prior permission from the lending libraries.
In case of loss or damage, please contact the Library immediately. Users will be held responsible for any loss or damage of the Interlibrary Loan (HKALL / Others) books borrowed. Book replacement and penalty policies of the lending libraries will be followed when cases as such arise.

Interlibrary Loan is subsidized by the Library, so there are no charges for eligible users.
Requests exceeding the subsidy ceiling will be cancelled.
