Development of Janus Beauty Facial Mask with Unidirectional Moisture Transportation Technology

Our project is about the development and commercialisation of the Janus facial mask, which is the first water-free Chinese medicine mask that provides unidirectional moisture transportation.

Demand for beauty masks has grown rapidly in the past few decades. However, the traditional sheet masks have many drawbacks: they contain harmful additives, they are not eco-friendly and waste of raw materials, they are over-packaged and inconvenient, they absorb water in reverse, and so forth.

Compared with traditional facial masks, the Janus mask has unique features: it does not contain harmful additives, it avoids reverse water absorption, and it is low cost, eco-friendly, portable and convenient.
