FV training

There is usually insufficient personnel training on large-scale and special equipment in construction projects during the implementation phase onsite, especially in the context of the high mobility of personnel and equipment in civil engineering projects. The implementation of targeted training is time-consuming, costly and difficult to organise.

This project will develop a VR training programme for large-scale equipment on construction sites. The first phase will develop a VR training system for the most common tower cranes on construction sites. In conventional training modes, the system will allow multiple users to use the online system to simulate realistic work scenarios and discover potential risks and problems.

In addition, the VR training programme will use VR software, training content, data feedback and assessment to enhance the effectiveness of the training.
