Biography
Siju has considerable global experience and a robust understanding of the complex legal, regulatory and policy landscape surrounding financial and digital technologies and its integration into traditional financial and socioeconomic systems.
His publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals including Banking and Financial Law Review, Duke Law Journal, Cambridge Law Review and Singapore Journal of Legal Studies, explore contemporary issues at the intersection of corporate and financial law and digital transformations, including digital assets, decentralised finance (DeFi), fintech and embedded finance, digital platforms economics, financial inclusion and SDGs, sustainability, algorithmic bias, and emerging data protection and data security issues in global digital policy.
He has also gained practical interdisciplinary experience through engagements with multistakeholder groups, law faculties and international organisations such as the United Nations ESCAP and the Bank for International Settlements, where participated in trailblazing projects on corporate and financial law, disruptive technologies in finance and digital law and policy.
