Belgium, situated in the heart of Europe, has long been recognized as a hub of musical talent. From polyphonic composers in the 14th century to modern pop music, the country has nurtured countless renowned musicians, including pianists, organists and composers.

Cultural Exchange Oasis is delighted to extend an invitation to esteemed Belgian musician Aldo Platteau to showcase his latest composition at CityU’s Joseph Lee Hall. This exclusive performance will mark the public debut of Platteau's masterpiece, which will be brought to life by a talented quartet of string performers: Silvia Li, Oliver Page, Castle Wong and Claire Wong. The concert will also feature an interactive session, providing the audience with a unique opportunity to engage with different music creations through live demonstrations and shared experiences.

About Aldo Platteau
Aldo Platteau is a Belgian conductor, soloist and chorister, who also composes songs for theatre, television and film. Platteau's extensive knowledge and experience have led him to teach composition and ensemble at the Académie de Musique d’Auderghem, advanced writing at the Conservatoire Royal de Liège, and applied and interactive music composition at the Conservatoire Royal de Mons. Currently, he holds a teaching position at the esteemed Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels.
