“Funding Programme of Research Projects on Equal Opportunities 2017/18”, Equal Opportunities Commission

“Creating a Discrimination-free and Barrier-free Living Environment for the ‘Little People’ in Hong Kong”

What the Project is About

CSHK cares about sustainability, including social sustainability. Our Centre Member Dr Simon Yau is Principal Investigator for a research project about public perception on dwarfism in Hong Kong, commissioned by Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC). The findings, as suggested by Dr Yau, show that the general public lack knowledge about dwarfism, thus causing a lot of misunderstandings and prejudice against little people.
