College of Computing Orientation 2026

The 2026 CityUHK College of Computing Orientation for new undergraduate students brought together over 260 excited freshmen, faculty members and colleagues for a warm and vibrant welcome to the College community.

The event began with inspiring remarks from Prof. Jianping Wang, Dean of the College of Computing, followed by an introduction to the diverse and exciting university life delivered by Prof. Minming Li, Associate Dean (Education). Ms. Violet Chan, Senior Executive Officer of Global Engagement Office, also shared information about helpful services to support students throughout their learning journey.

The orientation concluded with a cheerful group photo of the freshmen and our senior management, celebrating the start of their exciting new chapter at CityUHK. We wish everyone a successful and fruitful academic year ahead!
