About the Data Hub
The Global Talent Flow Data Hub is funded by the CityUHK Academy of Innovation. It aims to systematically study and track the global mobility trends of innovative talents and assess the competitiveness of world cities in attracting and retaining these talents.
The main objectives of the hub include:
- Analysis of global innovation talent mobility trends
Mapping the global migration patterns and characteristics of innovative talent through big data analysis and visualisation tools - Assessment of city-level innovation competitiveness
Assessing city-level attractiveness and competitiveness in drawing innovative talent, providing policy recommendations - Research the social impact of talent mobility
Analysing the contribution of talent migration to regional development, exploring its impact on social equity and regional balance.
