A delegation of 15 professors and students from Nankai University visited the Department of Biomedical Engineering on 1 September 2026. The visit included a laboratory tour showcasing a range of biomedical devices, followed by visits to the CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre and the “The Power of Play” Exhibition. Prof. SONG Yu also delivered an informative presentation introducing the Department and its programmes.

Among the delegation was Dr. ZHANG Yidi, now a Lecturer at Nankai University. Dr. Zhang is an alumnus of the Joint PhD Programme who completed his doctoral training under the supervision of Prof. SUN Dong.
