Prof. SHI Peng Awarded Gold Medals with Jury Congratulations at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva

BME and VCS Host Inaugural Joint Symposium to Foster Collaborative Innovation

Our Department co-organised the first symposium with the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences on 27 March 2026. This symposium aimed at fostering collaboration and innovation between faculty members. The event provided a platform for presenting research, proposing new ideas, and identifying complementary expertise across both fields.

Prof. SHI Peng, in collaboration with Prof. ZHANG Wenjun from a sister Department and other teammates, has been awarded Gold Medals with Jury Congratulations at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (IEIG) for their project, "UniquePOKE Series: The Multifunctional Biochip for Therapeutic Cell Engineering."

They explored three innovative companies: SenseTime, The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), and The Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre (LSCM).
