Prof. DONG Lixin has been elected an IEEE Fellow for 2026, one of the highest distinctions conferred by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is recognized for his pioneering contributions to nanorobotics and nanomanipulation, and the advancement of their real-world applications.

The IEEE Fellow grade is awarded to a select group of members each year for extraordinary accomplishments and impact in IEEE fields of interest. Prof. Dong’s election highlights his sustained research leadership and the significance of his work in enabling precise manipulation at the nanoscale, helping drive innovation across emerging technologies and interdisciplinary applications.
