Prof. ZHANG Yong has been elected as a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering (IAMBE) for his outstanding technical and leadership contributions to the field of medical and biological engineering at an international level. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineering (SAEng) and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). He has been awarded the HKSAR Global STEM Professorship and recently elected as a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, after joining CityUHK in 2023. He is also a recipient of the Humboldt Research Award (Germany) and the IES Prestigious Engineering Achievement Awards (Singapore).
