Mr. CHOW Lung Ronald, a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. YU Xinge, has been awarded the "For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship" for his ground-breaking research in wearable electronics. His work focuses on developing a universal method to create super wearable electronics that allow air and sweat permeability, enhancing comfort and functionality. The findings published in Nature provide fluid manipulation and system integration strategies for soft, permeable wearables (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41586-024-07161-1). The team has applied this technology to advanced skin-integrated and textile-integrated electronics, achieving reliable health monitoring.

The "For Our Future Innovation and Technology Scholarship" aims to promote the development of innovation and technology in Hong Kong and to nurture talents in innovation and technology. It also supports research students and fosters engagement among local youth in the fields of innovation and technology.
