Congratulations to Dr. Kannie CHAN, for being one of the six winners of the Teaching Excellence Award (TEA) in CityU this year. Dr. Chan shared that communication is the key to understand students’ aspirations, and this enables her to guide them to identify their goals and the ways to achieve them. She endeavoured to discover the real causes behind any failure and then to seek to improve, an attitude that she encouraged her students to adopt.

Since 1993, the TEA has been honouring outstanding teachers and promoting their exceptional teaching methods. Winners are also nominated for consideration of the UGC Teaching Award 2020.
