Alumni Volunteers

Today, over 2,000 dedicated alumni proudly serve as Alumni Volunteers. They support students and the university development by contributing voluntarily in different areas.

Areas of Volunteering
  • Alumni Associations — Alumni associations are independent organisations partnering closely with the University to grow and support alumni engagement.
  • Advisory Committees — Advisors committees exchange ideas and discuss strategies to enhance various forms of alumni support for the University.
  • Mentorship & Career Guidance — Experienced alumni provide mentorship and career guidance to support the professional development of current students and recent graduates.
  • Global Alumni Network — Global alumni networks are established in various cities to connect alumni and support the University's development.

Past Activities Highlights

CityUHK EMBAA Charitable Trust Unveils Mountain and River Classrooms at Ocean Park

CityUHK EMBAA Charitable Trust officiated the unveiling of the 'Mountain and River Classrooms' at Ocean Park’s 'Amazing Asian Animals' area on 25 June 2026. The three-year title sponsorship aims to promote environmental education and sustainable development, and is expected to benefit about 700 secondary schools and more than 10,000 students.

CityUHK West China Alumni Reunion Dinner and Forum

The “West China Regional Alumni Reunion Dinner” was held in Chengdu in March 2026 to strengthen connections with alumni across West China. The dinner warmly welcomed more than 200 participants, including alumni from academia, business, and public service, along with University representatives and faculty members.

Class Ambassadors Gathering

At the Class Ambassadors Gathering organised by the Alumni Relations Office, participants share the joy of witnessing the inauguration of new Class Ambassadors, as well as gaining inspiration from sharing by veteran alumni leaders.

CityUHK Alumni Homecoming

The Alumni Ambassadors support CityUHK Alumni Homecoming organised by the Alumni Relations Office, connecting alumni and University community members through inspiring events arranged by various academic departments, units, and alumni groups.
