Why Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (Stream: Artificial Intelligence)

The School of Law and the Department of Computer Science are renowned internationally for the strengths of their respective disciplines. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) and related technologies presents novel legal and ethical challenges. This changing landscape creates a growing demand and a critical need for legal professionals who possess both a deep understanding of legal principles and a strong technical foundation in computer science, particularly AI.

To meet this need, this double degree exposes students to interdisciplinary approaches, enabling them to draw meaningful connections between law and technology. By bridging the gap between these fields, the programme prepares students to thrive in an evolving professional environment and respond effectively to the demands of modern legal practice. Consequently, graduates will be uniquely equipped to navigate complex legal challenges in a technology-driven landscape, significantly enhancing their competitiveness in the job market.
