Information Space

Information Space is an area designed to create a conducive area for more interactive and participatory learning as well as small group teaching. Students can use the PC workstations to explore the information space and to work on their assignments there. The seminar room is equipped with projector for meeting and teaching purposes.

Facilities

About 100 PC workstations equipped with a wide range of software tools including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, graphics, desk top publishing, web authoring, statistical analysis and programming languages, etc. are available here. For details, please visit the software list of Computing Services Centre (CSC). Current CityU staff and students can use the PC workstations by logging in with their CityU Electronic ID. Advance booking for individual PC workstations is available to eligible students via the Library Carrel & PC Workstation Booking System. Most of the PC workstations are connected to laser printers. Current CityU staff and students are entitled to print within his/her quota limit as assigned by Computing Services Centre. Please see CSC's guidelines for laser printing for details.

There are three laser printers for Quota Controlled Fast Print Queue. Current CityU students can print by using of their print quota. Printing papers are provided for this service.
