Do you want to commercialize your innovations successfully? Where do great ideas come from? What else are needed for the success?

Experienced speakers from The Hong Kong Applied Science & Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) and Department of Information Systems will share with you their successful stories and lessons learnt.

This workshop is co-organized by Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO) and Department of Information Systems. It is one of the Intellectual Property and Knowledge Transfer Workshop Series organized by KTO.

Speaker: Dr. Edward Lor, Deputy R&D Director, ASTRI

Dr. Edward Lor is a Deputy R&D Director of the Mobile e-Learning Group in ASTRI. His areas of interest include e-Learning, mobile social networking, Peer-to-Peer communications and applications. In ASTRI, he primarily focuses on exploring new R&D initiatives, especially in the areas of e-Learning and mobile applications. Dr. Lor received his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
