Postdoctoral Fellow/Research Assistant (4 posts) in the Department of Computer Science (Appointment for 18 months) [Ref. A/R/1040/09]

 

Project

Ethereum Smart Contract Fuzz Testing Service for Security Vulnerability Detection

Duties

Design, develop, and maintain the software testing infrastructure to test blockchain-based smart contracts; and conduct applied research on fuzzing smart contracts.

Requirements

A PhD in Computer Science or related disciplines, with no more than 3 years’ postdoctoral experience.  Technical knowledge of software application developments in C/C++ and/or JavaScript; good command of written and spoken English; and strong initiative to complete tasks in a timely and professional manner are required.  Compiler knowledge and knowledge of Blockchain and Solidity are preferred. 

Candidates with a Master’s degree/good honours degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant. 

Students expecting to graduate in 2019 are welcome. 

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
