Project Manager (at the rank of Senior Research Associate/Research Associate) in the Department of Computer Science (Appointment for 12 months with possibility of extension) [Ref. A/R/1009/09]

 

Project

On School-sites Virtual Reality-based Training Programme (vPAD-II) for Social Adaptive and Emotional Training on Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Duties

Work with an interdisplinary team to develope virtual reality training programmes for children with special educational needs; manage the project schedule for the development and arrangement of psychoeducational assessments and training sessions; liaise, communicate and coordinate with schools, teachers and parents and assist in the training sessions; manage the accounting, costing and billing of project expenditures; and organize promotional activities and exhibitions with team members.

Requirements

A Master’s degree/good honours degree in Psychology/Education/Social Studies/ Communications or related disciplines. Experience in working with schools in providing training/service/support programmes is preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree and 1 year’s post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment at the rank of Senior Research Associate.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
