Design Strategies for Visualizing Multiple Spatiotemporal Datasets
Investigate the visual representation of large area ‘networks of networks’ for both understanding and public warning; use the creative strategies in aerial traffic and the real-world datasets of public transportation to explore novel data visualization techniques for different stakeholders on climate change-related extreme events; and draft journal articles for the Project.
A good honours degree with experience in the field of data visualization/creative media/network science. Excellent command of written and spoken English with good communication skills; a strong and productive scientific record; being highly collaborative, inquisitive and diligent are required. Candidates with a Master’s degree is preferred.
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
