Executive Officer I/II in the Office of the Vice-President (Development and External Relations) [Ref. D/200/09]

 

Duties

The appointee will be a key member of the event team of the Office, providing full support for event management, and cultivation and donor stewardship activities.  Major duties include organising and managing fundraising events and donation ceremonies, supporting communication with donors and special projects, and any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

A good honours degree with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in event management and communication services.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; being a good team player with strong creativity, attentive to detail; and ability to work competently in a fast-paced environment.  A good knowledge of computer software applications (e.g. Word and Excel) is required.  Relevant working experience in fundraising/philanthropic purposes would be an advantage.

Candidates with more than 7 years’ relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
