The appointee will assist the Assistant Provost (Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance) in all matters relating to academic quality assurance and enhancement, and in preparing the University for external academic audits. Duties will include:
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years’ administrative experience, preferably in a higher education institution. Candidates with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in academic quality or closely related areas, particularly in the field of academic audit, would be an advantage. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; high level of analytical and critical thinking skills; creative and flexible approach to problem solving; good presentation, organizational and communication skills; high level of self-motivation; excellent data interpretation and report-writing skills; and the ability to multitask and work under pressure are required. Up-to-date working knowledge of the quality assurance frameworks of Hong Kong, the United Kingdom or other global areas; and experience in committee servicing are preferred.
Candidates with not less than 12 years’ solid managerial experience may be considered for appointment as Manager.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
