Servant Leadership Training Programme


Duties

Reporting to the Associate Director (Student Life and Resources), the appointee will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting the planning and implementation of the service-learning programmes;
  2. Assisting in the organization of Servant Leadership Training Programme (SLTP), which is composed of two service teams and four levels of service ladder for participants;
  3. Developing and organizing Media Ambassador Programme (MAP), which is composed of video productions and radio programmes;
  4. Preparing high-quality promotional materials and publications for the programmes;
  5. Liaising and fostering cooperation with NGOs, schools and local organizations;
  6. Engaging with students regularly to encourage their continued participation;
  7. Managing the budgets funded by external funding bodies;
  8. Managing and updating websites of SLTP and MAP, relevant Facebook pages, and emails regularly to promote students’ achievements and commitments; and
  9. Performing any other duties as assigned.

 

The appointee is also required to work flexible hours on a need basis.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree, with relevant working experience (preferably in higher education/youth work or related fields).  Experience in organizing training programmes or project management would definitely be an advantage.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), working knowledge of computer applications (particularly Access, Adobe Illustrator, SPSS), dynamic personality and tactful communication skills are required.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
