Executive Assistant in the Student Residence Office [Ref. B/340/09]

 

Duties

  1. Provide support for hall application and summer residence;
  2. Provide support for daily operation of hall admission (e.g. room assignment, withdrawal, vetting exercise and special case);
  3. Provide support for hall fee checking and reimbursement;
  4. Assist in preparation of utilization reports and statistics;
  5. Assist in system enhancement on AIMS to facilitate/meet the operational needs for hall admission;
  6. Handle publicity of hall admission;
  7. Handle enquiries and organize general correspondence, filing and records;
  8. Provide administrative and clerical support to the Office for its daily operation; and
  9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 6 years’ relevant working experience.  A good honours degree, and experience in tertiary education institutions would be an advantage.  Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); proficiency in computer applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint); strong interpersonal skills; positive working attitude; being attentive to details; and ability to work independently to meet tight timelines and under pressure are required.  

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
