The School of Law has three goals: becoming a world renowned centre for research and teaching of law; equipping students with global knowledge, skills and perspectives; and establishing a trusted relationship with local and international legal establishments. It is the School's goal to provide quality legal education for students and to broaden their horizons. The School offers a broad range of degree programmes: LLB, JD, LLMArbDR, LLM, JSD and PCLL.
As a member of the PCLL team, the appointee will be involved in teaching Civil Litigation Practice, Advocacy and/or Drafting courses in the PCLL Programme. Duties may be carried out during daytime or in the evening. The appointee may carry the title of Teaching Consultant, and the duration of appointment is expected to be two years.
A good honours degree or an equivalent qualification plus at least 10 years’ post-qualification experience as a barrister/solicitor in civil litigation. Commitment to professional legal education is required. Teaching experience at tertiary level is preferred.
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Terms of appointment will be based on the current visiting remuneration package.
