Ms AI Liqing, a PhD student of Prof. YAO Xi, has been honoured with the Best Poster Award at the “2024 International Symposium on Superwettability+ (iSS+ 2024)” held in Singapore during 23–26 January 2024.

Superwettability has made remarkable progress in recent years and continues to make significant contributions across various fields. The International Symposium on Superwettability+ is an annual gathering of leading scientists, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals in the field of superwettability, with more than 300 scientists from 11 countries participated in the symposium. The symposia feature keynote presentations from renowned scientists, as well as oral and poster presentations from researchers working on different aspects of superwettability. The symposium serves as a dynamic platform for the exchange of knowledge, fostering collaboration and innovation in the pursuit of advancements in superwettability.

Liqing gave a presentation titled “Tough soldering for stretchable electronics by small-molecule modulated interfacial assemblies” based on the research of her PhD study. Her compelling work demonstrated innovative approaches to enhance the performance of stretchable and wearable electronics through interfacial assemblies. Her achievement was celebrated at the iSS+ 2024 congress, where she was presented with an award certificate and an honorpad prize.
