On 29 June 2023, delegates from the University of South China led by Prof. Jiang Zhisheng (Vice-President) visited our Department for a fruitful and productive meeting, they were greeted by our department management team members including Head, UG, TPg, RPg Research and External Links Coordinators and Programme Leaders.
During the meeting, we discussed a wide range of topics related to academic exchange and research collaboration in the field of life sciences and biomedical sciences. They explored opportunities for joint research projects and student exchange programs. Both sides expressed a strong interest in pursuing collaborations and agreed to continue discussions. They also agreed to explore potential funding sources for joint research projects and to work together to develop proposals for future collaborations.
The meeting was seen as a positive step forward in the ongoing efforts to foster greater collaborations. It highlighted the potential benefits of academic exchange and research collaboration in the field of life sciences and biomedical sciences, and demonstrated the value of open and productive discussions between scholars from different countries.
