After graduating from SEE in 2017, I left for ETH Zürich, Switzerland, to pursue a MSc degree in Process Engineering. Everything was so eye-opening – no matter if it’s about lifestyle, nature, education, or living expenses. Academically, I was heavily involved in developing portable breath sensors that detect critical biomarkers from our exhalation to monitor, for example, fat-burn during exercise. These projects set my curiosity in human physiology and medical science on fire. To catch the wave of biotechnology as well as to feed my curiosity, I have decided to pursue another degree in medical science. I have never imagined that this would be my next stop. After all, it’s hard to leave our comfort zone. But as my favorite author Elizabeth Gilbert says: "Follow your curiosity." I can’t wait to see where my curiosity will lead me, how much I could contribute to the world along the way.
