Two SEE PhD Students Win Poster Awards at the 2nd National Conference on Energy Chemistry

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is proud to announce that two of its PhD students, Mr. Ziyi Wang and Mr. Jia Lei, under the supervision of Prof. Jian Wang, Assistant Professor at SEE, have received the Excellent Poster Awards at the 2nd National Conference on Energy Chemistry.

The conference, organized by the Energy Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, was successfully held from 20 to 23 November 2025 in Shanghai, China.

Themed “Materials as the Foundation of Energy Chemistry, Innovation Driving a Low-Carbon Future,” the event served as a premier platform for academic exchange and technological innovation. It brought together leading experts and young scholars to explore key areas such as energy storage and conversion, new energy material design, low-carbon catalytic technologies, solar energy utilization, advanced characterization techniques, and AI-driven material creation. The conference aimed to foster collaboration across basic research, technology development, and industrial application, supporting China’s energy security and sustainable development goals.
