SEE Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Yong Chen Honored with IEEE IAS Industrial Drives Committee Transactions Paper Award

Dr. Yong Chen, Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Energy and Environment (SEE), City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), under the supervision of Chair Professor Chunhua Liu, has received the 2025 IDC Transactions on Industry Applications Third Paper Award for his manuscript entitled “Predictive Control of Five-leg Inverter Driving Dual PMSMs for Overcurrent Suppression”, published in IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications in 2024.

The award was formally presented at the IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) 2025, held in Philadelphia, USA.
