CityUHK Undergraduate Info Day

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) successfully participated in Undergraduate Information Day 2025, held on 4 October 2025. The event provided a valuable platform for prospective students, parents, and teachers to explore SEE’s academic programmes and research initiatives in sustainability, energy, and environmental science.

SEE engaged actively with prospective students and parents throughout the day. The exhibition booth attracted a continuous flow of visitors, with over 2,600 undergraduate programme leaflets distributed as attendees explored SEE’s academic programmes. Two admission talks were hosted, drawing over 270 participants; two laboratory tours welcomed around 100 guests; and two admission consultation sessions provided tailored advice to approximately 70 attendees. These strong turnout figures reflect the growing interest in SEE’s academic offerings and its impactful presence at the event.

The exhibition booth featured interactive displays and programme materials that highlighted the School’s commitment to addressing global environmental challenges through a dynamic suite of undergraduate programmes. As the Flagship programme of CityUHK, the International Sustainability Programme for Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship (INSPIRE) offers exceptional scholarships, overseas exchange opportunities, research and professional mentorship to cultivate global leadership in sustainability. Students may also pursue accredited engineering degrees in Energy Science and Engineering (BEngESE) and Environmental Science and Engineering (BEngEVE), both recognized by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). For those interested in integrating environmental expertise with financial insight, SEE offers a five-year double degree in Environmental Science and Engineering and Finance (EVEFIN). Another interdisciplinary option is the Bachelor of Science in Environment and Sustainable Business (BScESB), designed for students aspiring to lead in ESG strategy, green finance, and sustainable entrepreneurship. With strong industry connections, global partnerships, and a commitment to experiential learning, SEE prepares future-ready graduates to thrive in the evolving green economy.
