Prof. Kenneth LEUNG, BBS, JP, Elected Adjunct Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers
The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) warmly congratulates our former Dean and current affiliate member, Professor Kenneth LEUNG, BBS, JP, on his election as an Adjunct Fellow (AdFHKIE) of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) on 25 September 2025.

This distinguished title is a testament to Prof. Leung’s outstanding contributions to environmental science and his long-standing commitment to advancing engineering-related disciplines in Hong Kong and beyond. The Adjunct Fellow designation is a rare honour, conferred only by nomination and limited to no more than ten individuals per year. It recognises eminent non-engineers who have:
- Held positions of significant responsibility in or related to engineering, science, or technology for a sufficient period, and
- Rendered special services to the HKIE or to the engineering profession at large.
Prof. Leung’s visionary leadership during his tenure as Dean of SEE and his continued dedication to environmental sustainability and interdisciplinary collaboration exemplify the spirit of this prestigious recognition. His election reflects the HKIE’s commitment to embracing diverse expertise in shaping a more sustainable and innovative future.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Leung on this well-deserved honour.
