The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is proud to announce that Prof. Edwin Tso, Associate Dean (Internationalisation and Outreach), and Prof. Jian Wang, Assistant Professor, have been awarded the prestigious 2025 iCANX Young Scientist Award. Among only 10 recipients selected globally, it is a remarkable distinction that two awardees hail from SEE, underscoring the School’s outstanding contributions to energy and environmental research.

Established in 2021, the iCANX Young Scientist Award is a global initiative that annually celebrates the achievements of leading young scientists worldwide. The 2025 awards were presented at the Hong Kong International Talents Festival cum iCANX Science Talent Forum, a distinguished platform for showcasing pioneering research and fostering international collaboration.
