From September to October 2022, 89 volunteers from the Community Engagement Programme (CEP) spent 569 hours in seven community services and served 250 beneficiaries.
With the easing of the pandemic and the beginning of the new semester, CEP volunteers devoted more time to in-person services, including Online Tutorial Classes for Children through Zoom, Caring for the ragpickers and street cleaners in Yau Ma Tei, and Visit Animal Shelter on 29 September and 17 October.
At the same time, students paid a lot of effort into promoting community care through Human Library Series, respectively Veganism, Schizophrenia and dissociative disorder, and Mood Disorder.
We are happy that all participants enjoyed and learnt so much in the activities!
