In March and April 2022, 100 volunteers from the Community Engagement Programme (CEP) spent 650 hours in seven community services and served over 240 beneficiaries.
Regardless of the pandemic, CEP volunteers worked on donating anti-pandemic materials to elderly care homes with CityU Staff and joining developmental groups that supported SEN children in the community.
On top of that, CEP senior volunteers organised online services for children and families. More than 150 children and their families enjoyed the time. They learned a lot from participating in virtual exchange tours to animal-friendly cities, doing STEAM experiments, reading picture books, and making handicrafts with CEP volunteers!
