Clinical Skills Laboratory
The JCC's interim Clinical Skills Laboratory (CSL) is up and running for CityU's veterinary students. Using a range of tools from simple suture pads to cutting-edge surgical models, our students can continuously improve their practical skills in their para-clinical and clinical years. Development of clinical skills is an essential component of Competency Based Veterinary Education (CBVE) and Day One Competences.
When the construction is completed, the CSL will move into the brand-new Jockey Club Tower, and will include a large open access area, mock consultation rooms, a Virtual Reality room and a model development workshop.
Guided by the core principles of One Health, the University Farm, equipped with international standard facilities, is built to facilitate essential training of our veterinary students as well important research in cattle welfare.
