New Advances in Organoid Modelling:
from Basic Research to Clinical Applications

Organiser: Institute of Digital Medicine, CityUHK
Co-organiser: Tung Biomedical Sciences Centre, CityUHK
18-19 July 2025 (Friday and Saturday)

Overview

The New Advances in Organoid Modelling: from Basic Research to Clinical Applications symposium is organized in response to the growing significance of organoid technology in biomedical research.

Organoids three-dimensional structures derived from stem cells mimic the architecture and function of real organs, offering unprecedented opportunities to study development, disease, and drug responses in a more relevant context than traditional two-dimensional cell cultures.

This symposium showcases cutting-edge organoid research for clinical applications and is organized by CityU's IDM and TBMS to promote global collaboration among leading scientists and expedite translational medicine breakthroughs.
