CityU Media Ambassador Programme
Student Development Services of CityU
has launched the Media Ambassador Programme
(MAP) to nurture a group of media ambassadors
to advocate students’ contribution via social media
and learning through producing promotional
videos and recording radio programmes.
Miss Kay WONG, a MAP and Cultural
Walker member studying Year 4 for the Bachelor
of Business Administration in Economics and
Finance, shared what she gained from participating
in MAP.
“As one of the representatives of Cultural Walker,
I have spent nearly two months on script-writing,
video-shooting, footage-selection, and video-
editing to tell the best stories of Cultural Walker
to the audience. During the production, our
programme trainer provided a lot of advice on
selecting suitable and attractive stories to achieve
the promotional goals. It is encouraging that
the video has received positive feedback from
the audience. Besides, engaging in the series of
publicity work has also given me a stronger sense
of belonging to CityU and the programme.” Eight episodes of the radio programme were broadcasted on Metro Radio, capturing over 52,000 audience every week.
