Voluntary Work – An Indispensable Part of My Life

義務工作－我生活不可或缺的部分

“Participating in volunteer service is an essential milestone in my growth. From
a participant to an organiser and advocator, volunteer service has become an
indispensable part of my life.

Leading from the heart to help people in need, I wish to encourage others to engage
in volunteer services by sharing my own volunteer experience. As a social work
student, serving the community allowed me to broaden my horizons by interacting
with different service recipients. I hope everyone would enjoy voluntary work and
make it a part of their lives too. I look forward to meeting you in various volunteer
services in the future!”
「回想過去，從參與到籌劃以至倡導，義工服務成為了我生活中非常重要
的部分，亦見証著不同成長階段的我。我本著助人的初心，希望以自己
的經歷感染身邊的人。身為社工學生，服務社區令我有機會接觸不同
群體，拓闊視野。希望大家都可以投入義務工作，讓它成為自己生活的
一部分。期望未來能在不同的義工服務遇到大家！」
