Sustainability, or ESG (environmental, social and governance), has gained more traction as a concept in recent times, underpinned by increasing attention from stakeholders – from customers, investors to regulators at international and regional levels. Seeing the growing interest among the younger generations in this rising sector, Miss Queenie Wong Queenie will provide insights into the current ESG megatrend and ecosystem in the capital market and share tips on navigating careers in sustainability as well as how to unlock success within the ESG space.
Graduated from SEE in 2017, Queenie is currently Assistant Manager (Risk Advisory Services) at Avista Group. She has five years of substantial experience corporate ESG advisory and climate risk advisory for international corporates, asset managers and Hong Kong listed companies spanning a wide variety of industries including but not limited to information technology, luxury goods and retail, healthcare, property development, investment and management, video games and entertainment, wastewater treatment, water supply, hospitality, food and beverages, apparel and textile, and manufacturing across Hong Kong, Mainland China, Australia and other Asia Pacific regions.
